Creator Terms

Terms for people who post to the FetePass feed or claim a profile, including the licence you give us and the disclosure you owe your audience.

FetePass is in private preview. The software is complete and runs against the real systems it will run against in service — the same database, the same payment rail, the same gate. What is not settled is the company behind it: FetePass is not yet incorporated, holds no money-services licence, and has not taken a real payment. So the registered company name and number, the registered office, the published contact addresses, the fee schedule and some retention periods are marked to be confirmed before launch rather than invented. They will be filled in here, with a new date on this page, before FetePass takes its first real payment.

During the preview: no real money moves — the fiat top-up is switched off in the product, not merely unlinked — and anything you are shown in a demonstration may be reset. Everything on the screen still comes from real data: FetePass does not put invented events, venues, prices or people in front of anyone, so an empty surface is an empty surface rather than a mock-up.

1. Your work stays yours

Everything you post to the FetePass feed — photos, video, writing — remains yours. We do not take ownership of it and we do not sell it.

2. The licence you give us

By posting, you give FetePass a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy and display your post inside FetePass, and to feature it in FetePass’s own promotion of the app and of the event it relates to, with your name or handle attached. That licence lasts while the post is up. Delete the post and it ends, apart from copies sitting in backups and caches, which age out on their own schedule. We do not sub-licence your work to advertisers.

3. What you are promising

• The post is yours, or you have permission to use everything in it, including the music.
• The people recognisable in it are fine with it being posted, and nobody in it is a child whose parent has not agreed.
• It is not defamatory, and it does not breach anyone’s privacy.

4. Saying when you are paid

If a promoter, venue, brand or we gave you money, free tickets, free food, a discount or any other benefit for a post, say so in the post itself — in the caption where it is read, not in a comment and not behind a “more” link. This is not a house style rule: the US FTC Endorsement Guides require a clear and conspicuous disclosure of a material connection, and they reach creators outside the US whose posts predictably reach US audiences, which on these islands means most of them. A post that does not disclose can be labelled or removed, and repeated failures end the arrangement.

5. Claiming a profile

Where FetePass shows a creator or venue profile assembled from public posts, it is shown as a headline, a short excerpt and a link to the original, credited to the source. That is not a claim that you are on FetePass. Claiming the profile is opt-in: you ask, we verify you control the account, and you then control what appears. Ask us to remove it instead and we remove it — without argument and without asking why.

6. What may not be posted

• Unlawful content, harassment, threats, or anything sexual involving children.
• Someone else’s work passed off as yours.
• Ticket sales outside the rules in the Terms of Service.
• Spam, engagement farming, or impersonating a person or a business.

7. Complaints and takedown

If you believe a post infringes your rights, tell us through Contact with enough detail to find it and to show the right is yours. We act on genuine complaints quickly, and we tell the person who posted it, who can put their side. If we remove something of yours by mistake, say so and we will put it back.

8. Money

There is no creator payment scheme on FetePass today — no revenue share, no tips, no paid placements sold to creators. If one is introduced, its terms will be added to this page before it opens, and anything to do with tax on such payments is to be confirmed before launch.
