Terms of Service
The agreement between you and FetePass, including how tickets are sold, transferred and refunded, and the rules at the gate.
Last updated 23 September 2026.
FetePass is in private preview. The software is complete and runs against the real systems it will run against in service — the same database, the same payment rail, the same gate. What is not settled is the company behind it: FetePass is not yet incorporated, holds no money-services licence, and has not taken a real payment. So the registered company name and number, the registered office, the published contact addresses, the fee schedule and some retention periods are marked to be confirmed before launch rather than invented. They will be filled in here, with a new date on this page, before FetePass takes its first real payment.
During the preview: no real money moves — the fiat top-up is switched off in the product, not merely unlinked — and anything you are shown in a demonstration may be reset. Everything on the screen still comes from real data: FetePass does not put invented events, venues, prices or people in front of anyone, so an empty surface is an empty surface rather than a mock-up.
1. Who you are dealing with
FetePass is a product of FeteLabs, and it is managed and operated under Saltwater Brands — it is not incorporated yet. In these terms, “FetePass”, “we” and “us” mean Saltwater Brands, the business operating FetePass. If and when a company takes it over, this page will name the company, with a new date on it, and the change will be flagged in the app before it applies to you.
2. What FetePass is
FetePass is an island-by-island app for fetes, venues, pros and food. It lists events and places, sells tickets on behalf of the people putting the event on, takes bookings and food orders on behalf of the business fulfilling them, carries a feed, and shows island news and events gathered from publishers with the headline, a short excerpt and a link to the original. We are not the promoter, the venue, the pro or the kitchen unless a screen says we are.
The promoter is the seller. When you buy a ticket, your contract for that ticket is with the promoter putting the event on — they set the price, they decide what the ticket admits you to, and they are responsible for the event happening. FetePass provides the platform that carries the sale and charges a fee for facilitating it. The same is true of a booking and a food order: the business fulfilling it is the one you are contracting with. Your receipt shows the ticket price, our fee and who the seller is, separately, so this is not a distinction that only lives in the small print.
3. Your account
- You sign in with your email address and a code we send you, or with a passkey once you have added one. A phone number is optional and is used for your account, not for marketing, unless you separately ask for marketing messages.
- The code is yours. Do not pass it on; anyone holding it can use your tickets.
- One account per person. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and events set their own age limits at the door.
- You can close your account at any time, and we can suspend one that is being used to defraud a promoter, a Feter or us. See the Privacy Notice for what happens to your data.
4. Prices, and what our fee is for
The price you see on the first screen is the price you pay: fees and any tax we know about are included in it, not added at the last step. If a price is wrong by an obvious mistake, we will tell you before taking payment rather than hold you to it.
Inside that price, the ticket money is the promoter’s and the fee is ours. We charge the fee for facilitating the transaction — running the listing, the checkout, the ticket and the gate — and not for selling you the event. Your receipt itemises it, and the promoter’s own statement shows the same two numbers from the other side. The fee schedule is to be confirmed before launch.
5. Paying
- USDC on Solana, through Solana Pay. Prices are quoted in the seller’s currency and settled in USDC at the rate shown at checkout. A confirmed payment on a public blockchain is final and cannot be reversed by us; a refund is a new, separate payment. You pay from your own wallet — an app on your phone, a code you scan with it, or a wallet in your browser — and the USDC amount quoted for a checkout holds for that checkout until it is paid or released.
- Cash, where the event takes it. Cash is handled by the promoter or venue at the door, and may be issued to you as event credit (section 7).
- Free entry, where the event is free.
- There is no card payment yet. When a card rail is added, this page will say so before it goes live.
- No balance can be topped up with real currency. No payment method is connected to it, so there is nothing to load with and nothing can be loaded, and that stays the case until FetePass’s money-services position is settled. The internal switch that would permit it has been turned on for testing, which changes nothing a person can do: there is still no way to pay. This does not affect cash taken by a promoter at their own door, which is the promoter’s cash and never passes through FetePass.
6. Tickets
- A ticket is a licence to attend the event on the terms the promoter publishes on the event, and those terms sit alongside these.
- Your gate code rotates in the app, so a screenshot will not get anyone in. During an event your phone holds that ticket’s key, so the code still shows with no signal — but the gate itself needs a connection, because every code is checked against our servers and spent the first time it matches.
- Where the promoter requires an ID match, the name on the ticket has to match the ID you show at the door. FetePass does not collect or hold a photo of your ID or your face: the check happens at the gate, by the promoter’s staff.
- Entry is refused only by the promoter or the venue, for their own published reasons — age, capacity, behaviour, safety — and those reasons must be lawful.
7. Event credit
Cash taken at the door may be issued as event credit: a balance you can spend at that event only. It is not money, it is not a payment account, and it cannot be spent anywhere else. Whether unused credit is refundable, and when it expires, is the promoter’s choice for each event and is stated on the event before you pay. Unless the event says otherwise, unused credit is not refundable.
8. Transfer and resale
No ticket resale statute was found in the islands FetePass covers today, so the rules below are contractual: they are the promoter’s rules and ours, not a law.
- Transfer and resale run through FetePass, and only where the promoter has enabled them for that event.
- Each event carries a resale cap set by its promoter — face value, or face value plus a stated percentage. The cap is shown on the event and on the resale screen, and a listing above it will not be accepted.
- Reselling outside FetePass, or above the cap, is a breach of these terms and can void the ticket. A voided ticket is not refunded to the person who broke the rule.
- When a ticket is transferred, the new holder’s name goes on it, and section 6 applies to them at the gate.
- A ticket sold for money is paid in USDC straight to the wallet the seller has linked to their account. FetePass does not receive or hold that payment. The ticket stays with the seller until the payment is confirmed on the network, and only then moves to the buyer; a hold that is not paid in time is released and the listing goes back on sale. You cannot sell a ticket for money without a linked wallet.
9. Cancellations and refunds
- If an event is cancelled, the promoter refunds what you paid for the ticket through the same rail, and we pass the refund on as soon as the promoter releases it.
- If an event is moved or materially changed, the promoter states whether tickets carry over or are refunded.
- Change of mind is the promoter’s policy, shown on the event. Any cancellation right your own law gives you applies on top of this and is not taken away by these terms. Whether Saint Lucia’s seven-day cancellation right for services under its Electronic Transactions Act reaches event tickets is to be confirmed before launch; until it is settled we will not treat the question as closed against you.
- Bookings with a pro and orders from a kitchen are cancelled on that business’s terms, shown to you before you confirm.
10. What we ask of you
- Do not use FetePass to defraud anyone, including chargeback or refund fraud.
- Do not scrape it, break it, or try to reach data that is not yours.
- Do not post anything unlawful; see the Creator Terms.
- Do not abuse staff at a gate, a counter or a chair.
11. Content from publishers
Island news and events gathered from publishers are shown as a headline, a short excerpt, the publisher’s name, the date and a link to the original. We do not claim that content, we do not republish it in full, and any publisher who asks to be removed is removed.
12. Availability
FetePass is in private preview. The software is complete, but it is being shown before the company behind it is formed, so screens may still change and we do not promise uninterrupted service. During the preview, anything in a demonstration account may be reset. We will not knowingly break a ticket you have already bought.
13. Liability
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything the law does not allow to be limited. Subject to that: the event, the booking or the meal is the responsibility of the business providing it, and our own liability for any transaction is limited to the amount you paid through FetePass for that transaction.
14. Law and disputes
The governing law and the forum for disputes are to be confirmed before launch with counsel. FetePass is run from Anguilla and Anguillian law is the expected answer, but it is not stated as settled while the operator is not yet a registered company. Consumer rights you have where you live are unaffected, and nothing here stops you from bringing a complaint to a regulator in your own island or country.
15. Changes
When these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them, and a material change is flagged in the app before it applies to you.
Questions, or something to report
Tickets, refunds, resale and gate questions go to the promoter first, and to us if the promoter does not resolve them. Everything on this page can also be asked about through Contact.
